Decorators fashioning special niche

Angela Schuster used to arrive at her corporate job in designer suits and heels. Jill Hayden favored business casual during her classroom years.

These days, practical dress means something quite different, with Hayden often strolling through clients' front doors in deep-pocketed jeans and Schuster opting for what she calls her "Bob the Builder outfit" – overalls, tool belt, T-shirt and sneakers.
